My son just purchased a dell motherboard D845GRG. I am needing drivers

    Did he do a complete back-up of the files and folders before removing the motherboard? If not you guys have a mountain of searches to do. Sorry, that's all I can offer.

INTEL D845GRG ONBOARD SOUND FIX (USE THE INTEL DRIVER)
hi i have recently fix the problems i had with my intel d845grg onboard
sound card,after downloading 10 drivers for the ad1981a soundchip
i found it wasent the driver.fix located your soundchip and just above
it you will see a bank of jumper plongs on the pcb put a jumper over the
the last two jumpers nearist the pci slots, reboot your pc and you now have
sound this has taken up a large amount of time to find this simple
fix

Intel motherboard D845GRG. Reinstalled WinXPpro, new hard drive. Cannot find working audio driver. Intel website lists one driver, this will not work. Cannot find any other driver. HELP!
Get the free Belarc Advisor from http://www.belarc.comwhich will identify your audio chipset. From there, you can do a Google search for the driver to find it at the vendor's website.

The Intel D845GRG MB supports USB 2.0 & is backwards compatible to USB 1.0
For in-depth description of motherboard wire color & location click on this link & scroll down till you see, "Standard USB Cable Wiring Color Code". http://www.usbman.com/Guides/BelkinMotherboard_cable_assembly.htm
You'll also need to open your manual to page 68 If you need the manual for the D845GRG MB click on this link; ftp://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/D845GRG/BVRG_English.pdf
Between the two you should be able to set the correct colored wire up to its matching pin on the MB.

The drivers for your Intel D845GRG motherboard may be found here.

If the PC came with an add-on video card, you need to determine the brand/model that we may be able to get the necessary driver(s).

Please be reminded that drivers are OS specific.
