SD card does not seem to fit in the SD card slot

Most SD cards go into spring loaded slots. Try pushing the card further into the slot and release it to see if it will pop out.

The GL2 works with SD cards. Your 16GB card is an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed for them. You need to use an SD card, 2GB or smaller.

Ok my friends, in this moment I'm fixing this problem in a compaq nc6230...The problem here is....The keyboard!! Try uninstalling your keyboard, and now turn on without the keyboard, and now you can see the message of "Insert Smart Card" dissappear!!

I would check all the slots if that is the only slot giving you problems then that slot may be bad.

First Format your SD card and Try it.
If this doesnot work, Check with your phone dealer that the SD card memory capacity can be used. Some phone only accept memory card upto 1GB.

The camera has one xD slot, and is supplied with an adapter which fits into the slot if you wish to use micro-SD cards. Regular SD and mini-SD cards will not fit.

You tried to put a Sony Memory Stick into an SD slot? It will probably need as much force to pull it out as it took to jam it in there!

I'd power off, and start with tweezers... if that doesn't work... i'd break out the needle-nose pliers. You may break the reader while trying this... but a card reader is all of $10-20... and you're kinda stuck anyway. ;o)

the MS pro may need an adapter if it's the mini kind. then that will plug into that slot. it still won't fit the same way as the SD card, so insert it carefully. there should be an indented area for the MSP card to insert.
