Hold a vacuum cleaner hose to the fan while the computer is running. If the fan draws inward, move the vacuum hose to the cleaner outlet port. If the fan does not turn, then the fan bearing is usually bad and the fan must be replaced.
Use a can of air that you buy at any Radio shack , maybe walmart. Its called "Duster" . I actually use an air tank with a pointed nozzle fitted on the hose end. Blow the air into each sloted vent till the dust is cleared.you can do this while the fan is running too. If the fan becomes noisey it may have bad bearing and the fan will eventually need to be replaced.

Get a can of condensed air, at Fry's or Wal-Mart and spray all of the dust out.
