Call the voice mail system from your phone (usually ext 165), put your password in, and start retrieving messages. Use a lot of 3's (delete) and it will get it down. IIRC you are only allowed about 100 or so but it is set by VM class of service.

Mail box full

Is that a question?

Log into it and start deleting messages, or delete and reinstall the mailbox from the owner's box (999)

I've lost my manual and can't remember how to change and record a new the greeting. Thanks for your help. Fran

At the base unit press the MEMO button, then press one of the mailbox buttons(MAILBOX 1, MAILBOX 2, or MAILBOX 3) begin recording into the MIC at a adistance of 8 inches after the long beep. Press the MEMO button to end and save the recording. If a caller leaves a message without choosing a mailbox, the message will be recorded in mailbox 1. Here is a link to download the manual.

Hi there, my business uses Panasonic KX-T7431 Digital Super Hybrid System and we have several lines. when nobody is available to take the call it goes directly to a company message stating are names...

The introduction message is usually setup as a custom service menu. You need to determine if this is the case by logging into the message managers mailbox and listening to find the current greeting. To log into the message manager mailbox, call voicemail, dial #6 then *98(for 2 digit mailboxes) or *998(for 3 digit mailboxes) or *9998(for 4 digit mailboxes), enter password followed by #. Once in the message managers mailbox, press 5 to record messages. Your introduction message could be the company greeting or a custom service menu. Press 1 for the company greeting and follow the prompts to listen to the greeting. Press 3 for the custom service menu, then enter the custom service number 1-100( in your case start with 1 until you find the current introduction message) and follow the prompts to listen to the message. Once you have found the current introduction message record your new message and save.

Changing Panasonic KX- T7630 Business Phone Answering Message

You don't "lose" the manual, it comes on a CD. The Panasonic system probably has a TVA voice mail system and it requires you to change the Auto Attendant greeting from the message manager's mailbox. If you don't have the passwords for mailbox 998 and 999, you need to contact someone who has them and a layout of the system.

Your Panasonic technician can guide you through the process.

One panasonic phone on super hybrid system says no one available

Did you set it up? A mailbox plays the generic message until you call into the voice mail system and follow the tutorial. The mailbox owner has to record as a minimum, the day greeting, a name, and change the password.

Can't find how to set my voicemail message on Panasonic KX-T7431

Thanks for all the helpful information! First of all, I think you have a TVS/TVM voice mail system. That's good, but what does the lady say when you dial 265 or 165 from either your phone or a phone that works?

If you have voice mail set up, the prompt would be to "Enter your password then #" or "You have X new messages" if you don't have your password set. If you don't get ANY of those on your phone, but do on someone else's, you don't have a mailbox.

Mailboxes are added from the System Owner's mailbox (999) by
option 6 then 1. Once you have a mailbox, you do use option 5 and 3 or 2 or 1 for Name, Password, and Greeting.

Since there is little difference between the models of voice mail, I have attached a TVS-50 manual. The instructions for adding a mailbox start on page 280 (or use the System Manager's Guide tab on the left).

With any luck, you'll get voicemail too :-)

Call Screening

If you have a Panasonic Voice Mail system, you can set it up in your mailbox options. Since Panasonic made/makes several voice mail systems, it's better if you know which one, but try option 4 then 1 then 2 to turn on call screening. When a user calls in and keys that mailbox, you get the lovely "record your name at the tone" prompt. Pretty friendly, huh?
