Whirlpool dryer not drying

I have a whirlpool dryer, model GEW 9868KQ1, 7 yrs old , however the problems has been started about 4,5 years now. It has different drying cycles so i have been using whichever dried the clothes somewhat. But now the only one that works after 3,4 times drying over is the time cycle. Please tell me what to do.

Your dryer is likely clogged up with lint .. that would be after the lint filter .. the pipe that carries the hot air out is usually completely clogged after that long .. it and the dryer itself (down inside) has to be cleaned about once a year to keep it tip top .. hopefully you can find someone that can take it apart and clean everythiing .. that should get you back to like new performance .. or you could call a few handymen to see what they would charge to clean the lint from your dryer and stack .. or if you are handy there is a special big brush with a string attached .. you pull that thru the stack to clean it .. use a vacuum cleaner to get inside the dryer vent (you can see in the vent when you take the hose off .. excessive lint buildup not only greatly reduces your dryers efficiency but is a fire hazzard as well ..

Hello, I have a whirlpool Duet dryer model number GEW-9200LQ0. The problem I am experiencing is when the dryer is turned on and you go to start either an automatic or manual cycle the sensing light turns...

You must have a bad thermistor. The program aint getting any signal from it and dont know the temp inside the dryer.
When you call for drying the control checks with the thermistor mounted on the blower housing inside the machine. The reading informs the control the ambient air temp. The dryer kicks in and does another check after a moment to see if everythang is kosher. If it determines dampness then it continues onward till the desired resistance reading indicating the clothes is all dry and she goes into cooldown no heat to allow the clothes to keep from wrinkling. You either have a bad thermistor a bad control or a bad connection between the 2. Look for Dan Webster youtube appliancejunk repair manuals and find your free manual i have in there. Thanks good luck.

Whirlpool dryer model LEB6000PQ0 its not heating up anymore''it starts it turns but the clothes dont dry its only 2 yrs old.

check your breaker first.A dryer will run on 110 but wont heat.if not breaker it could be your thermal fuse or element.the thermal fuse is located on element cage, unplug machine and test for continuity to your thermal cut off fuse which will be the top one on cage and check continuity to element.

Noisy drum

You may have a rear drum support issue. There are 2 rollers,(supports), 1 at 4 o'clock and 1 at 7 o'clock. If the bushing in the roller becomes elongated,(elliptical), it will give a thumping noise, as you describe.
