Do you mean, the AF Illuminator (the bright orange/red light that appears before the picture is taken)?? If so, all have to do is click on menu, scroll all the way to the right (into the setup menu) and go to the camera icon. From there, go down to the AF Illuminator and switch it from "Auto" to "Off".

Hope that resolves your problem!!

Everytime I snap a picture, the camera flashes three times. Help!

The camera is in Red-eye Reduction mode. The preflashes are intended to get the subject's pupils to contract, reducing the red-eye look.

Press MENU to display the menu. Press right-arrow to select the toolbox icon (Setup). Press the arrow keys to select Red Eye Reduction, and turn it off.

Red eye on sanyo digital camera xacti, always theres a red eye when taking pictures,i already adjusted everything, still occuring red eye.

Do you mean your subject's eyes are showing "redeye"? This is a common problem with cameras that have the flash very close to the lens. Almost every photo editing program has a tool to remove red-eye. Check your computer to see what you have installed. In the future, most cameras have a red-eye flash setting which shoots a short flash before the main flash to close down the pupils in your subjects eyes to eliminate red-eye. You could also turn up the lights in the room...sometimes that helps.

RCA 52 INCH D52W20B WON'T COME ON

A 1995 60 inch rca good picture and sound. Then it started a cracking noise and a hissing sound, then the picture went blurry. then it was nice picture and sound, then it died. took the back off and turned out the lights. Plugged the tv in and out from the wall socket and there was a sparking noise and a small arc when i plugged it in and out a few times ,at the part that the power plug plugs into. The white part that is beside the white power plug part has thick red wire coming out of it and goes into another plug that has more red wires in it. but the big white part beside the power plug part looks burnt and has black powder on it. that part is probably the problem but maybe not, what it the name of that part and how much would it cost and is it plugged in or soldered.

Flash causing a white out!

you are possibly using it too close to subject. Make a softening/dimming filter with layer of tissue paper over the flash- the more tissue the less light gets out

Animal Eyes

I've seen some of those white eyes photos. Some are down right scary. I'm sure you have encountered red-eye when taking flash photos of people. With some animals, it is not red - but white. .... Try to catch the animal looking away from the camera when you take that flash picture. Have someone distract him/her. ............
