Try to replace the battery (if it is a Laptop PC) or try to check the hinge or rainbow-cable that connect your Power to Monitor screen, it might be the socket little bit loosen.

I have a similar problem. My engine shuts down after about five minutes..
Measuring the current into the distributor(ignition) reveals a jump in current from 3 to 40 amps.
The power lead is red on white and the ignition lead is yellow on black and goes into a connector under the dash where the ignition wire changes to white on black. Three different wiring diagrams give no clue to how this problem is caused.
Also, the starter is good for only a few turns after the engine warms up.
There may be nothing running in task manager that you can see but there is still something running,My advice is to take it to your local Geek Squad or preferred computer tech you most likely have a virus that is slowing down your computer process.

Sounds like the computer is shutting it down and the monitor is fine. Check for viruses then check your settings in device manager for the screen saver and power down (screen off) options.
No, this is typical problem for defective inverter. Mostly screen appears for some seconds and then turn to black. If you are technician, you can use this link :-). http://www.lcdrepair.us/1702inverter1900x.html
