Needs service, if the inputs to amp are clean (test that yet)>)
Testimonial: "Sure I tested the inputs, it does it randomly even without individual instrument FX opened. Noise is somehow master FX related."
well, some fail for bad capacitors inside.
they get old and leak or dry you and fail.
a shop checks all that.
made in 2006 , so is 13 years old but looking at it , I see it is older design.
those tone sliders say tom me 80s design.
using POT sliders, that love to get noisy.
when it makes noise with no inputs try wiggling all those knobs. to see if they are related to the noise.
again why not find a shop to fix it?
Most things made this old are failing now.
Unless serviced by a professional.
this guy(I searched for you) show
maker has no service manual. bad that is.
http://www.fixya.com/support/t20121446-b...
it sells used for $40 so , spending, $100 to fix $40 IDK who that works.
what can you, do?
1: upgrade to newer AMP.. hint one that has good support book unlike this THING.
2: have it repaired.
3: open it, (no AC) look for things burned
clean it out, look for drink spills that got inside and damaged it, the damages can be very large. at the link above told. the caps can all be changed out, "wiki CAP plague,"
1999 to 2007 , yours is 2006 so.... sure. caps. loved to be bad then.
caps can do this.
dry out. (only meters find this)
split ,crack , explode or leak green electrolyte juice.
they can short, and then other parts burn.
(called collateral damage)
they can also leak (electrical leak) and make huge louds noises. even intermittently
this is what all old electronics, do.
look inside and see all those parts that can fail, it is not trivial at all.
Thanks for spending time to answer this topic. I will consider letting it check.
it's old and labor here(USA) is not cheap.
most times things old and cheap or worth zero broke, we then buy something better , gee even something with a service manual.
that is what I do buy only things with real support. full. (nice things, not toys)

Sounds like more of a tv speaker problem then your ps3. You can change the audio settings on the XMB dashboard of your ps3. I think they are default at max.
