No power to windows, radio, dash

I would start by checking if the under dash fuse panel is getting power to all the fuses. A few will be hot at all times (like the brake light fuse, horn fuse), but with key on, all fuses in the fuse panel should have power available to them.
Use a test light, clip the ground clip to a metal bracket, and use the test light probe to touch the fuses at the ends-the little indents on top of fuse is open to the metal strip in the fuse. When the probe touches that strip, the test light should light, meaning power is getting to the fuses. No light? Maybe not grounded good-keep trying until you get a light when touching the fuses through that little **** at top of fuse. When you have a good ground, check all fuses. With key on, all fuses should have power-now you can check the radio fuse and dash fuse.

You can do this also to check for a blown fuse. Even a blown fuse will light the tester on one end of fuse. A good fuse will light tester on both ends of fuse. A blown fuse will only light tester on one end. You can check fuses this way without pulling the fuse out to inspect.
If no power to the fuse panel or to part of the panel, look for a bad fusible link or maxi fuse that distributes power to the fuse panel. There may also be a relay (ignition relay) that the key switch turns on to send power to the fuses that are hot in accessory or run.

Its not power on

Hello,

Once your television is not powering up, then there is a problem with the power panel of the television. First try to connect the television using another power cord to see if it will work. If it does not come on still, then it means there is a problem inside the unit. The problem mainly used to be either a faulty power panel or a bad capacitor. If the television has its LED light blinking, then it is a bad capacitor on either the main panel or the power panel, and if the power LED light is not blinking, then it means the power panel is bad, and replacing the power panel will do the job for you.

Take care and good luck

Green and red light flahing tv wont turn on

Hello,

There is a problem inside the unit that is why you are having the blinking lights.
Blinking lights simply are symbols for you to know there is a problem with either one or more components in the unit.

Mostly, it has to do with power problems, either a bad ic problem, bad capacitor or bad power panel.
For bad ic you will have to assess all the panels in the unit to be able to detect the ic that is faulty, for bad capacitor you will have to assess all the power panel or the main board to be able to check and replace any bad capacitors, and if it is the power panel, all you have to do is to assess the power panel to see if it is burnt or have a bad capacitor, then replace the power panel or replace the capacitors.

Take care

Tv shuts off spontaneously. red power light blinks.

re: sony flat panel lcd tv mod. # klv s 40a10.
No power. When power button is pressed, nothing happens.
The stand-by at the power supply ( cn6201) measures to be 3.47 v. instead of 5 v. However, when I unplug cn6201 (5 pin connector) I can read 5v. at the power supply.
Any suggestions?
