Hi, my p180cd center red light blinking and not sense any thing, I have no manual please assist

SOURCE: My Tray Door popped open after two red lights shut down console and won't close!

You may need a new drive, but I doubt it. After you get the Xbox open, peel off the silver tape thats on the bottom front of the DVD player, unplug the 2 connections, and lift it out. Turn the player upside down and remove the 4 screws, flip it back over and make sure that the try is lined up correctly with the mechinism.

5 blinks = lamp driver (ballast) failure.

replacement is done from the back of the set, should be straight forward, keep the red ballast wires apart for best results

if a tech replaced the red tube, you have an older tv where 5 blinks is the AKB error meaning your CRTs are getting old.
