Overcharging celfone hi this is jo!i overcharged my motorola razr v3 and when the cel shuts off due to low battery, it won't power up eventhough it is being charged.can u help me solve this problem?tnx in advance!

I couldnt find anything that says that exactly but if it keeps happneing then most likely that is the case. There are no active recalls for that battery from motorola so most likely there is something on the phone a short or something that could cause it to overheat or overcharge thereby hastening the wear and tear on the battery

ya your battery needs to be changed... this type of battery problem occurs due to use of duplicate chargers for charging or by overcharging some thing ... so i suggest you that after taking new battery if you want ur battery to lost long & to give good battery back up then just use original charger & while charging charge until the battery is complete & dnt over charge & charge only when your battery is fully down ... if you follow some of this tips you battery will be fine...

no the phone book is not lost when you take out your old battery bcoz every cell has the RAM memory to store so only it is called as phone memory.....
