Planet 3 browser and my internet connection dont wotk

Both my browser and internet connection have stopped working for no reason whatsoever.they were working fine and now dont. however in my applications my you tube still works so the connection is there.any help is appreciated

A few things I would try:

Try a different browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Opera. You can download, install and run them at the same time, so there's no reason not to test them out.
Look in Internet Options, under the Connections tab, click the Settings button, and deselect all boxes there.
What type internet connection do you have? Cable is usually quite a bit faster than DSL, depending on the area of the country, I suppose.
If you have a router, don't let it sit atop your modem or other heated device. They are cooled by convection, no fan.. and extra heat causes failures, some permanent.
