Sounds like an electronic problem on the timer circuit board.

Siemens IQ300 tumble dryer beeps twice when start button pressed but does'nt start

To reset the controller Turn the dial to off.
Then you need to press and hold the start button and the low heat button.
Keep them both held in and turn the dial 1 click clockwise.
Keep the buttons held in till start light flashes then let go.
If this works then turn the dial to off and then back on and try a cycle and see if this works.
Let me know what happens.

I have a code of loc coming on and my dryer wont work how can I fix this issue??

The control panel is locked. on the control panel, there will be either a "lock" button that you hold down for 3-5 seconds to unlock, or it will have "lock" in small letters with a line pointing to 2 of the option buttons. hold the 2 buttons it points to for 3-5 seconds and it will unlock. the control lock is a child safty feature that will not allow any the washer to work until it is unlocked. P.S. to put the control panel into the lock mode, is the same way as you unlock the control panel.

Why wont my wtxd8300 Siemens dryer start

Electric dryer no start does nothing

Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage.

CHECK THERMAL SHUT OFF THERMOSTAT USUALLY LOCATED ON THE BLOWER. for OHMS or resistance with a meter. Should show a closed circuit. Ohms WHEN THIS FUSE BLOWS IT WILL SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING.

NEXT Test the PUSH start switch with meter for OHMS. Should show OHMS when pushed in or on start, and no ohms or infinity when in off position.

If you hear a humming/clicking sound from motor area you more than likely have a bad motor.
Try this test out to see if u have weak windings or relay/capacitor on motor.
Open the dryer door and turn by hand the drum while machine is on ON position. And you or someone else presses the door engagement switch in. If it starts up then u have bad windings

Another thing to check is the belt safety switch. With a multi meter.
Especially if u just replaced the belt. The belt safety switch is attached to the Tensioner and motor. IT LOOKS LIKE A DOOR SWITCH SOMEWHAT a little black pc of plastic with 2 prongs going into it. Sits at bottom of motor. Under the Tensioner. Attach meter clips to the 2 prongs on switch, Then when the little white push button is pressed in it should show continuity and none when released.

Lastly check ur DOOR SWITCH for continuity with a meter when the button is pushed in the (on/Door closed position,) it may have gone bad.

Hi, we have a Siemens IQ300 Condenser Tumble Dryer which we have recently inherited. Unfortunately it worked for a wek before just stopping. The lights are on and everything looks normal but when you

Check to see if it is properly grounded and that the incoming voltage is correct (120V or 240V) for the wiring config you have.on the dryer as it sits. Also try unplugging and wait a minute or so before plugging back in. This will sometimes reset dryer electrical components to factory settings.

Tumble Dryer won't start

assuming what you say you checked is correct and working then the next place to look is the start relay, located behind the front timer control panel, this sis more often than not a cubed shape box made of clear plastic with about 6 spade connectors on it, look for burn marks inside it, replace if looks damaged, do not attempt to bypass or short out to test, as you will blow the timer or and control circuit board and cause extensive damage
