When I try to access my Iomega 250MB USB Powered Zip Drive, I get the following error message: "K:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." Every once in awhile, I get this error message instead: "Please insert a disk into Drive K:\". When I go to Device Manager, right click on the device, and click on Properties, the Device status states, "This device is working properly." and the Device usage states, "Use this device (enable)". I've tried all the Methods listed in Microsoft Article ID 891894, but it still does not work. Can anybody help me??

I have an external Iomega 250 zip drive with a USB connection cable but do not have the power cord/transformer. Where can I get a replacement and will this drive (model Z250USBPCM) work with an iMac?

Yes your model will work with an iMac conveniently. The replacement chord can be gotten from any computer hardware store around. All you have to do is take the unit there so they can access what particular chord is going to function for it.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
