SOURCE: How do you troubleshoot phasing issues with the

Phasing issues? Not sure what you mean by phasing. Phasing would be the phase of the audio pressure on the mic versus the electrical phase out of the receiver. DO NOT EXPECT the phase to be stable in any way as there is a communication and data conversion in the loop. The phase will be highly audio frequency dependent as well.

Since this is posted under a Sennheiser microphone, and I don't think they need timing belts. you might want to re-think your question.

How do i sync my mic to my receiveri have a ew 100 g3 and after some kids were playing with it, I can't get any sound

Pressing the sync button whilst holding the mic close to the IR unit on the receiver should sync things back up. If this has already been done things to try next are as follows.

RF Mute. Press and release the power button. RF Mute should be displayed. Press the roccker switch and select RF mute OFF, press the rocker switch again.
Check in the advanced menu that the pilot tone is on on the handheld AND the receiver.

Issue more complicated than originally thought!

This isn't a solution. But after I've gotten into my microphone with the same issue using a torx screwdriver I found that I (Electrical Engineer) don't have the proper equipment to fix the issue. Roughly 100 dollars (Flat rate) and a send off to Sennheiser is your best bet.
