Yes you can use the equalizer without an amplifier. That is what the high level speaker inputs are for. You simply take the positive and negative from a speaker and hook it up to the positive and negative high level speaker inputs on the equalizer.

This unit has a separate EQ band for the subwoofer-- you'd connect the sub-out from your CD player to the sub input on the EQ, and the sub-out from the EQ into the input on the sub amp.
The "sub" slider would then adjust the sub volume.
If your CD player doesn't have a sub-out, and you are just using one of the regular front/rear outputs to feed the sub amp, then the sub volume will follow the other sliders toward the left side of the unit, which is less desirable.

no those wire is not for speakers out put that for signal in put only if there is rca jack follow the instruction and run your cable if your dont know dont guess you will burn unit audio out put if install wrong

The microphone input goes through the same equalization path as input 2: determined by blowing on the mike and hearing a change in speaker sound with changing high band EQ

someones stereos...?ldies....dont have pin jacks(low impedance)..if you stereo have it make this conection because is more eficient and have low distortion.....good loock.
