A lot depends on the quality of the cables you are using. If you are using the leads which came with your cable (scart leads) theyare not string enough you need to purchase gold platted leads in insulation...good manufacturers are belkin/ pure av. this goes for hdmi cables too. it is all well and good buying a good tv but you need the superior cables to use it

hello it sound like theres may be a dry joint probably in the power supply you would need a strong light and a magnifying glass and soldering iron and some solder
thi set will need repair , one of the circuts in the power section is failing and will need test to determine the exact cause of the failure, you will need to call your local electronic repair shop to come and take the board out or they will fix it there

About middle of the board you removed the flyback,there is a u shaped heat sink this is in the middle of the board,behind the heat sink is a blue cap 2200 uf ,if the top is pushed up the cap is bad.
