Mine did this before it died. It would blink, show the eye and then a white screen that says it's loading something, when I kept the power button pressed down. It was the only way it showed it was still alive. I then bought a new adaptor from RadioShack with the same voltage and amp... and it just died. The adaptor got very hot and I now think it's the frame itself. Unless someone knows what to do inside this frame with pictures, I'd suggest taking it to your local, non-store chain, mom-and pop, electronic repair store...
Removing the internal battery will clear all settings. I have done this on two different versions of the Pandigital frames (seems to be a very common issue) and it has corrected the issue instantly both times.
