SOURCE: Auto shut down screen does appear when ignition is turned off

This is telling me that your cigarette lighter socket has +12VDC applied to it all the time EVEN when the ignition is turned OFF. This is not the fault of your Nuvi. On some cars, like Hondas, the cigarette lighter socket powers off when your ignition is turned off.

If you want it to turn off with the ignition, then you will have to power it from a +12VDC source that is controlled by the ignition.

MY Provence heater stay on for about 2 hrs then goes out , and wont ignite again ?

If your heater is gas, must have at least one igniter electric or thermo couple, also a flame sensor could be present, the thermocouple send a milivolts signal to the gas valve this signal is initiated by the heat provided to that part, practically the igniter, thermocouple, and or thermo pilot "talk" to the gas valve, hey, we have flame in here you can open and let the gas flow, if there is a flame sensor this one would say, hey, there is a good flame at the burner stay open until the control thermostat tell you to shut down, I would change the pilot assembly if your unit is gas, because sometimes the pilot opening gets restricted and the flame is too small but strong enough to activate the gas valve, when the burners kick in shut down the pilot, and remain lit, in the next cycle pilot is out.

How to fix Raypack that Runs for 2 minutes and then off with PLT on Screen

If your Raypack (mine is a 2100 but most have the same electronic ignition pilot) lights and runs for about 2-5 minutes an then shuts off, you need to clean the pilot sensor. The pilot sensor tells the unit the Burners are running. If the pilot sensor becomes corroded, carbon, etc. the unit will light but will shut off after a few minutes as it thinks the unit is not operating properly. The unit will try to re light, but fail, and then PLT will show on the main programming screen. To fix the probelm, shut off the unit power. Remove the pilot assembly which is located at the bottom right of the unit. There is one screw holding the pilot assembly in place. Gently remove the pilot assembly. There is a fork like probe sensor (not the one with ignition and gas feed) that needs to be cleaned. Take some rough sand paper and clean it thoroughly. Re insert pilot assembly and fire the unit. If this fails, clean the sensor again. Problem solved!

How do I fix the heater? The igniter will not stay on long. The heater never reaches desired temperature.

Try turning it off and unplugging it for 30 seconds. If that doesnt work, some people I know had to melt ice from their vents with a blow dryer. If not call a technician. Error codes should be in the manual. http://www.rinnai.us/customer-care/manuals-literature

6.5 RV Onan generaotr wont kick in when loaded. checked automatic transfer switch and excited it manually, worked one time but never again,

1. Does the generator stay running when you start it the first time?

2. What color is the housing on this generator? Try to get the model number and serial number.

If the genset is shutting down on the first try, then your probably not creating voltage. However, if this is an older unit then the genset may stay running although no voltage is created. Place a volt meter on the genset to check for output voltage.

Gas Dryer won't stay hot

There is a thermoelectric eye that says it is OK to keep the gas burner on. If this sensor is defective or blocked from "seeing" the gas flame is properly lit, it will turn off the gas flow (safety) override solenoid. With the unit unplugged make sure that the optical path on the upper right (1:30 CW position) flame tube inside sensor window is clean. The rattle you hear is probably the safety gas shut-off solenoid engaging. If you need more help, please ask -- SWT
