It does not help to reset the machine. It does not help to manualy put on a new master to start over. The machine successfully removes the master each time. It burns a new master each time but will not roll it on the drum as it indicates that the master has not been removed.

How to unlock rz riso, the master is locked

What to do if you have drum stuck in your RP 3700 that is not in the right position.

Open up the top and remove back cover
1) Remove the 5 screws that hold the metal plate with all the electronics on it in place.

2) Disconnect the small purple and the large orange cable.

3) Fold the electronics plate to the side.

4) There is a large spring behind the electricity box. If it is not tensioned, use a screw driver to stretch it until it locks in place.

5) Locate the drive belt.

6)
Bring the drum back to home position
Look for the aligning holes in the top left of the plate covering the drive belt.

7) Carefully remove the drum.

8) Check the home position from the front
Look for the drum knuckle in the back, towards the left.

9) Remove the master from the drum and manually bring it to its home position.

10) Bring electronics back in place and reconnect the cables.

11) Turn on the machine in test mode (hold while flipping the switch).

12) Run Test program.

13) Turn off machine and load a drum.

14) Turn on machine normally and do a test print.

ATTENTION: Always bring the machine back to its home position before running any prints to avoid serious damage.

Riso rp3700 drum is stuck

Assuming that it is still in the locked position. Open the top and observe the position of the drum. Rotate the drum the normally locked position. i.e. The master clamp on the drum is in about the 2 O'clock position. Put in test mode, enter 556 and push start. That may release the drum.

Master wont ink up on riso 3700, How do I check ink pump and test

This is unlikely that the pump is not working.. I have 2 RP 3700s.. The screens are probably clogged.. with old ink.. or there could be a fit problem with the ink tube to the drum.. (no vacuum). With the drum in the machine and the ink in installed.. Take handle of a hammer and lightly (LIGHTLY!) push to ensure that there is no air pocket in the ink tube.. Carefull not to push too hard and squirt ink all over inside the machine. Also ink screens can be taken off and cleaned with varsol and re-installed.. Also as a final check.. make sure you are makeing a master.. look closely to see if you have a lazer burned image on your master.
