Rp 3700,
My machine during the master making process shuts down because it indicates that it has not removed the master from the print drum. IT HAS REMOVED THE MASTER. It does not help to reset the machine. It does not help to manualy put on a new master to start over. The machine successfully removes the master each time. It burns a new master each time but will not roll it on the drum as it indicates that the master has not been removed.

Assuming that it is still in the locked position. Open the top and observe the position of the drum. Rotate the drum the normally locked position. i.e. The master clamp on the drum is in about the 2 O'clock position. Put in test mode, enter 556 and push start. That may release the drum. PrntNow.com
These questions may help to find a solution or at least a better understanding of your problem: Have you set the paper size right? Is the print drum capable of the desired imaging size?
Remove the roller on which the master has been created. That will force the machine to start a new cycle. Right now the machine has thinks its in between the cycle, so to synchronise both, its been told to remove the master. Switch it off & then begin again........sodeep
This is unlikely that the pump is not working.. I have 2 RP 3700s.. The screens are probably clogged.. with old ink.. or there could be a fit problem with the ink tube to the drum.. (no vacuum). With the drum in the machine and the ink in installed.. Take handle of a hammer and lightly (LIGHTLY!) push to ensure that there is no air pocket in the ink tube.. Carefull not to push too hard and squirt ink all over inside the machine. Also ink screens can be taken off and cleaned with varsol and re-installed.. Also as a final check.. make sure you are makeing a master.. look closely to see if you have a lazer burned image on your master.
