LG dare can't hear. I can't hear incoming calls on my LG Dare.

Hi,

the ear piece speaker which other speak into and you hear from is damaged inside the phone and it needs to be replaced to get clear listening of calls coming in.

When you replace it, you will start hearing clearly again.

chech your call settings,,maybe its barring.

since you can be heard it means the mouth piece for you phone is working but since you cannot hear the other person please i would advice you to replace your phone ear piece .but note that this break in transmission might be as a result of on service to your phone

Your speaker could be going bad. Take your phone in and see if they will repair it.

Thats a hardware problem. It will require one speakerphone on top and a microphone at bottom both come in combo. As an expert I'd suggest you replace both. They come in combo and same charge for replacing. Rest all up to your decision.

Yeah, i also had this problem with my dare. I did what was already posted, plugging and unplugging my headphones until i got the message about there being no microphone. The speakers and microphone on the phone works now.

My speaker did not work either so i got mad and knuckled the back of the phone right beneath the speaker and it seemed to work but you are better of getting a new phone or trading it in

This ia stupid glitch with the phone, to fix it all you need to do is stick a head phone into the jack for about a minute. This somehow resets the audio setup because it doesnt have a microphone and then the audio is routed back to the speaker. I had to try this about 3 times before it workd. My phone did the same thing. Just put headphones in for a minute. :))
