Filter changed but still 1% on display panel

I changed my filter to a brand new one as advised in my user manual. The display still states the 1%. I have powered off the fridge but it remains the same Any suggestions?

Is this a side by side fridge freezer? Most Whirlpool models with LCD display on front- reset filter indicator to display 99% by pressing and holding 'OK' button until filter resets to 99%. If you have a different model, or of this doesn't work, advise on model number and I can instruct further

Frigidaire French doors not making enough ice .

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is not producing enough ice. I would advise to check and make sure that your water filter has a secure connection, if need be uninstall and reinstall the water filter to assure connection. Your filter should be changed every six months, if it is has not been changed recently I would recommend exchanging it.

If you continue to receive low ice production it could be an issue with your water line or water valve, I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnose and repair of your appliance. I hope this helps. -Matt

Why is icemaker not working

Good Morning Friend,

I understand the ice maker is not working in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FPHG2399PF. Please follow these steps to resolution:

    1)Make sure the ice maker power switch is on. This button is located on the ice maker itself.

    2)Make sure there is not a small cube caught in the ice maker itself. If there is, carefully remove it.

    3)Check your water filter. Water filters should be changed roughly every 6-8 months. Also make sure your water filter is seated correctly. Try taking out the filter and re-installing it. Listen for 2 clicks and make sure it is flush with the water filter housing.

    I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.

Refrigerator RF323TE how do I change the water filter?

The filter for the french door refrigerator is probably behind the vegetable drawer, if you do not see it in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator compartment. Remove the veggie drawer and turn off the water coming into the refrigerator. Rotate the old filter to the unlocked position and remove it. Then take off the protective cap from the new cartridge and insert it into the refrigerator. Rotate it to the locked position. (Rotate the filter to position the label before you insert the filter. Then the filter goes in correctly.) Reinsert the vegetable drawer and close the doors. Then turn the water back on and fill several glasses with water to clean the filter. Pour that water down the drain at your sink.

3 beeps every 3 seconds

This usually occurs when there is a water supply issue. If you remove the front cover and expose the right side of the unit, you will see (at the top right) a panel with a black button on it about 1/3 the way in. USE A FLASHLIGHT to locate it.... there is an electrical shock hazard here.

Push the button and the beeps will stop. If the warning recurs, check for water pressure to the unit.

First, if you have a filter system, crack the nut at the entry to the filter just enough to see if water is present there. If not, go to the source and check the angle-stop... change it, or open it, as required.

If you have water at the filter inlet, do the same thing (after tightening the nut you loosened) at the outlet. No water?..... change the filters. Water present?... do the same at the entry to the ice machine.

Water at the entrance? Turn off the water and remove that fitting to expose the inlet solenoid valve and examine the strainer. If clogged, remove and clean the strainer.

Beyond this, you will need a technician to deal with the issue. Call the Hoshizaki factory at 1*800*438*6087 to find a factory-authorized service company in your area.

It may be that the air vent is blocked by something as well but the filter is usually behind the air grills.
