I dont have a manual so im not sure i have installed the TS-WX11A correct.. (it dont sounds like it)
There are 3 power wires to any car stereo. 12v positive+ negative(ground)- and 12v switched. if these three are correct, your stereo will
-turn on
-turn off when the ignition is switched off
-turn on when the ignition is switched to accessory mode.
assuming that these are correct, we can move on.
To Test:
turn your stereo on and turn your balance all the way to the left, we are testing your left speakers, so if you hear sound coming from the right side, you will need to switch some of those wires around buddy.
now, with balance still set all the way to the left set the fader all the way to the rear, this should test your Rear Left Speaker
now, with fader set all the way to the rear, turn your balance all the way to the right. this is testing your Rear Right Speaker.
continuing on, turn the fader all the way to the Front, testing your Front Right Speaker,
and continuing on, turn your balance again all the way to the left, this tests your front left speaker.
make a note of which speaker(s) isn't working and then you will know which wires to hunt for. without being there looking at the wires with you, this part can get hard to explain. im assuming either your stereo or less likely your var will have your wires labeled for you. once you know which ones dont sound right i hope you can easily fix the situation by connecting the positive(solid color) wires to the negative(usually black striped wires) making sure to connect positive wires to positive wires and neg. to neg
The audio source's output should connect to the inputs of the TS-WX11. caution on power supply connection: don't reverse the polarity of the positive and the negative wires.
Remember also to set your HU's output in order for it to work. If it does not work yet please give the details on your HU and other devices being used.
