My eclipse MP3 player was working fine until one day it gave me the "disk error" message when I opened it. I tried re-formatting it to many different types and it still didn't work

Try going to http://www.apple.com/ca/ipod/download/index_cgi.html . Download that program, install it, then open it and plug in the ipod. If it works u should be able to click restore and your ipod will work.

SOURCE: mp3 player malfunction
1. Connect the player to the PC using the USB cable.
2. Open Windows Media Player.
3. Go to the Sync or Devices tab and delete all content from the player.
4. Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
5. Select the Devices tab, highlight the ILO or Siren player and click on Properties.
6. Uncheck the box "Create Folder Hierarchy on Device"

Mine Mp3 player had 3.99 GB of capacity and after few days mine MP3 player showed me Some Disk error, so when i connected to the computer it told me to format it. So when i formatted it, it only showed 1.90 GB.
