How to fix disk error or mp3 player

Connect your Eclipse player to a computer and try to format it as a Removable disk. If can't, try low level format using HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool

If still can'tt format it, probablt your Eclopse is unrecoverable. Actually, it's the WORST mp3 player I ever had!.

Things You'll Need

Microsoft Windows 7 computer with an open USB port and iMesh installed

USB cable compatible with Eclipse MP3 players










Instructions

• 1 Plug a USB cable into the Eclipse MP3 player. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an open port on the Windows 7 computer.
  
• 2 Click the "Start" button on the Windows 7 desktop taskbar and click "Computer" in the menu that appears. Click the "Music" item located in the left pane of the "Computer" window that appears. Double-click on the "iMesh" folder. For Windows 7, XP and Vista. Recommended. Download Now.
  
• 3 Click the "Start" button on the Windows 7 taskbar and click "Computer" and then double-click on the "Removable disk" icon that represents the Eclipse MP3 player device. A window will appear displaying the contents of the Eclipse MP3 player storage area.
  
• 4 Right-click on a music file in the "iMesh" directory that has the "mp3" suffix, and click "Copy" in the menu that appears.
  
• 5 Right-click on empty space in the "Removable disk" window and click "Paste" to copy the music file to the Eclipse MP3 player device. Repeat for each file you wish to download to the Eclipse MP3 player.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  To copy multiple music files at one time to the Eclipse MP3 player, press and hold the "Shift" key on the keyboard. Click once on each file you wish to copy. Right-click on one of the highlighted MP3 music files and click "Copy" in the menu that appears. Presumably the error is caused by a hard disk drive? In which case the hard disk will need to be checked. If there are options to do this use them. Otherwise the drive might need to be replaced.
If you bypassed the normal way of putting music onto the drive, then it might have corrupted the drive.
If there is an option to reformat the drive that might work. Or if there is a factory reset, that might correct it.
If you have music stored on the drive, which is not found anywhere else, then I think it will have been lost for good.

1. Connect the MP3 player to the computer.
2. Left click on "My Computer" on your computer desktop.
3. Double-click on the "Removable Disk" for your MP3 player.
4. A message appears stating that the MP3 player is not formatted and asks whether you want to format. Select "YES".
5. A new window opens up. Under "file system",change FAT32 to FAT.
6. Put a checkmark in the box for "quick format"
7. Tap the "start" button
That should rest your MP3 player and your good to go

you either have a virus or the powerpoint is not in the right format.

Is the memory card or the memory full? That may have caused a memory error.

take it back to were you got it as you have a internal disk problem and disk means hard drive in laymans terms

initially,i was experiencing format error when i tried to open somefiles but i tried to format the player using windows, but i guess itmessed it up because i started having disk error messages. Now, i canteven use the mp4player or look for a possible way to reformat it. iahev even tried mp3 utilities disk tool but it didnt work. Please helpme the firmware version is 2007/02/14 9.1.51 7515_2.2TFT 2007/01/25

Try going to http://www.apple.com/ca/ipod/download/index_cgi.html . Download that program, install it, then open it and plug in the ipod. If it works u should be able to click restore and your ipod will work.
