Change of mailing address - Computers & Internet

The post office has change of address forms. You can also get one from your mail carrier. Fill it out and take it to the post office. Be sure to inform all important contacts during this time of your new address. The post office will forward yor mail to your new address for a few weeks.

Hi, firstly never EVER use the ISP given address, it is about as secure as putting a fiver out in the road!
Get yourself an email address from something like yahoo and it will go anywhere you do. For example i have had mine at yahoo.co.uk for over 20 years and 4 addresses and used it in many countries.
If you use say an Orange given one then if you change to Free you will lose the Orange one.
You can for example get [email protected] and it is if you want yours for life.

go to post office and get a change of address card and fill it out
then give it to the postal person at the desk or mail to the address
on the card. this will forward mail to your new address for a period of time.
you will though have to in most cases contact utilities, bank, mortgage company, magazines, credit card, etc. yourself
to change your mailing to new address.

If you are in the USA, it's easy! Contact your local post ofice and ger a form to change your address. If this doesn't apply to you, please resumit the question with more information, like what address you are wanting to change (email, streat address, mailing adress, etc)

Sign in to PayPal using the old address then change it there. FixYa cannot change your info on another company's website.

Unlike a home or office address, you cannot change an e-mail address and have all e-mails delivered to that new address automatically. If you want to change your e-mail address you must create a new e-mail address either with the same e-mail provider or a new e-mail provider. Hope this helps Jane

Here's how to change your recovery email address:

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click the gear icon at the top of any Gmail page, then Mail settings, and open the Accounts and Import tab.
3. Click Change password recovery options in the 'Change account settings' section.
4. Select Recovering your password under Personal Settings. You may be prompted to re-enter your password to help verify your password and protect your account.
5. Click Add an email address if you don't have a recovery email address set already, or click the Edit link next to your current recovery email address to change it.
6. Click Save to make your changes.
7. Close the Google Account window using your browser's Close button if you don't want to sign out of Gmail just yet.

Lynette, this is not the place to change your address. Go to the entity(s) where you need to change and make the changes there.

You will need to add the new e-mail address in your Paypal account under "Profile" and then "Add or Edit e-mail" After you do that, set the new address as your "primary" e-mail address. Your new e-mail address will now become your log-in name.
