E900 Slide/Keypad/On/off Tones won't work!

need to unlock keypad on phone please

THIS IS A SLIDING PHONE,WHEN YOU SLIDE IT SHUT IT LOCKS THE KEYPAD,TO UNLOCK KEYPAD PRESS THE POWER ON/OFF BUTTON ONCE ITS THE BUTTON WITH A LOGO ON IT THAT LOOKS LIKE A CIRCLE WITH A LINE GOING THROUGH THE CENTRE

may be you have keypad problem.open your casing and wash your main key pad.

when you go to your tones folder select the mp3 you want to make the msg tone and select it then an option should direct you to add as ringtone or msg alert

My phone wont play music it ceeps saying unsupported file it is
a samsung sgh-x830

change any thing in the settings keypad tone etc ?

can you post more on silent mode example no music or complety no sounds ?

Keypad tone
Use this menu to select the tone that the phone
sounds when you press a key.
Message tone
Use this menu to set up the ringtone for incoming
messages.
Menu functions
• Tone: select one of several message tones.
• Alert type: specify how you are informed when a
message comes in.
• Repetition: specify how often the phone informs
you of a new message.
Power-on/off tone
Use this menu to select the melody that the phone
sounds when it is switched on or off.
Slide tone
Use this menu to select the tone that the phone
sounds when you open or close the phone.
Silent mode
Use this menu to set how the phone acts to alert you
to a specific event in Silent mode.
Extra tones
Use this menu to customise additional tones for the
phone.
• Minute minder: set the phone to beep every
minute during an outgoing call to keep you
informed of the length of your call.
• Connection tone: set the phone to beep when an
outgoing call is connected to the system.
• Alerts on call: set the phone to beep when you
receive a new message or when the time for an
alarm comes during a call.
• Indicative tone: set the phone to beep when a
pop-up window displays.

You can change the settings of the selected active profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tones > Incoming call alert, Ringing tone,
Ringing volume, Vibrating alert, Push to talk settings, Message alert
tone, Instant msg. alert tone, Keypad tones, or Warning tones. You can
find the same settings in the Profiles menu.

change profile mode to custom sttings may be u are using the factory defalult profile setting

This is pretty stupid thing about E900 software. First you have to change the theme. Then this option will not be blacked out ;)
