Fuel not flowing as it should. 86 Corolla

I have an 86 Toyota Corolla. The car has a recently rebuilt carburator, new fuel pump and filter. For some reason, the gas is not flowing as it should. When we unhook the fuel line, the gas trickles. Once we finally get the car to run, it will idle perfectly but when you try to push the gas peddle, the car dies. Once it dies, if you floor it and restart it, the engine will rev but as soon as you take your foot off the gas peddle, the car dies. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Check the fuel pump pressure using a fuel pump pressure guage. It would not necessarily be unheard of to have a new, but bad, fuel pump. No or low pressure, then take the pump back and get another one.

My 88 toyota corolla sr5 flutters and idles irratic, i have replaced fuel pump fuel filter and tuned veh up seemed to help but still flutters it is carburated

Did you try to adjust the choke in the carburetor? Also, check to see if there's a vacuum leak. This may solve the problem.

I can't find the location of fuel filter in my toyota corolla 2002 1.8 lt engine.

The fuel filter for a Toyota Corolla from 2002 and later is inside the fuel tank there is no external fuel filter. It's generally assumed that these filters don't need to be replaced unkless the fuel pump is replaced which is also inside the fuel tank.

1989 toyota corolla will not start

You have soaked all your electrical. All you can do is get an air hose and try to blow everything off as well as you can. Take apart what you can, and blow it out. If it doesn't go, you'll just have to wait.

86 4runner will not start, put new fuel pump @ filter, computer, relays, cold start valve, egr valve@new fuel injectors, coil @mass air flow sensor still will not start

Your problem very well maybe that the new inline fuel pump that you put in does not supply sufficent fuel pressure to let it run... so to solve it i know it is expensive but you will probally have to put a tank fuel pump in.
