I was refering to the cmos battery, the one I need to remove to unlock my laptop, I forgot the password and was told the battery can be located on the motherboard but I can't see anything resembling a battery
here is a picture of it, Toshiba Finss4, found it on ebay, tks for your help so far, I have tried those passwords too, none helped
well I found the cmos battery, removed it as was suggested, left it out for days to no avail as I have since found out that removing the battery on this model don't work, you either have to have a sercurity access key or I saw some made a dongle to short out the cmos memory, apperently you can make one using the plug from a printer cable, what I need to know is, does anyone have any knowledge of which wires to join together?
i was removed cemos battrey but untill now asking password
