Question about Computers & Internet
Omg that is old, I used to use that with windows 95
what memory that is. wow.
forget EXE ok>
fork FAP but is now a banned word, so searching FAP takes you to Pr0N sites
I google for you, is your google broken?
1st hit after avoiding all to Pr0N sites
the new ACDSEE does not even mention FAP
so what versios of ACDSEE do you have.
1995 to 2019 LOTS.
exe is binary executable file, and is NOT VIDEO Ok
and see no hits on video.fap , zero
so where did you find these files.
my guess is you are very confused about video files.
there are vast applications that can coverert any video to MP4. did you try that first.
google free video converters.
here is what FAP means (clean)
FAP file is an ACD FotoAngelo Project. ACD FotoAngelo is a program for creating screen savers and slide show presentations from your images.
so is not a video file at all
it is PROJECT file only.

SOURCE: AVI file is not running
With .avi files the issue is usually which video codec has been used to encode it - all players will have certain codecs installed, and if the second player you describe does not have the approprtiate codec then it will struggle to play the file - occasionally the audio codecs can have the same effect, also on video. In your video conversion program you should be able to choose from a list of codecs to use to encode the .avi file, check which one you used and then check it is installed on the computer that is experiencing the problem. Windows media player, if it is fully updated should be able to cope with the majority of codecs, the best player for .avi files at the moment is DivX player, available free for download at; http://www.divx.com divx player also may need to be fully updated after you install it, this is an easy procedure, just click "Check for new versions" in the "help" menu to make sure you have the latest divx codecs installed Hopefully this will allow you to play the files on both machines. If you still have trouble, then type the name of the codec used by your converter program into a search engine, and you should find a location to download it from with installation instructions. Hope this helps, ask again if you still have trouble :)

Download the Amipro to Word converter from here:
Unzip it and install the file ami332.csv in the folder \Program
Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv
You'll be able to see your amipro files when you try to open a file in
Word. You'll get a warning message thast you're opening a non-word
file, but then it opens up just fine.
Rate if this helpful to you.. Thnx!

I had to convert the video to WMV first using Smart Soft Video Converter but there are many other converters that will do it. Then convert the WMV to SMV using the Phillips SA30XX Media converter program supplied on the CD that came with the unit. If you don't have the CD with the software you can download from http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa3020_37/sa3020_37_mcs_aen.zip .
