I have the exact same problem and it's driving me nuts. I phoned ACER and they won't give me the answer unless I pay them for help support. Seems like this should be in their user guide. It has to be a simple fix, but can't figure it out.
The question mark key (?) normally doesn't change function, unless you've loaded foreign language support and changed the keyboard layout setting in your operating system. If you're in the U.S. and using U.S.-English applications, you should specify that you're using a U.S. 102 or 104-key layout, or whatever your keyboard actually is, and make sure that you're not inadvertently running a keyboard support driver for a non-Roman character set.
