? Key keeps changing function

I have the exact same problem and it's driving me nuts. I phoned ACER and they won't give me the answer unless I pay them for help support. Seems like this should be in their user guide. It has to be a simple fix, but can't figure it out.

The question mark key (?) normally doesn't change function, unless you've loaded foreign language support and changed the keyboard layout setting in your operating system. If you're in the U.S. and using U.S.-English applications, you should specify that you're using a U.S. 102 or 104-key layout, or whatever your keyboard actually is, and make sure that you're not inadvertently running a keyboard support driver for a non-Roman character set.

Acer Aspire 7745G enable fn key

If you want to use blue print Fn key, just press and hold it with any other key that also has blue print in it. Fn key is locaded bottom left of the keyboard. Second one from the left to be exact.

If you want to use Function keys F1, F2 and so on. You should not press Fn key which will change Function keys to function differently.

My mouse and think pad do not work

There are 2 possible answers to this common issue, the first is that the aspire has a mouse lock. check your keyboard on the function buttons for a picture of a mouse with a line though it, hit function and at the same time press the mouse with the line through it and if its locked off this will turn if back on. The second answer is driver issues, if the first suggestion dont work I would go to the Acer website click on downloads and drivers and enter your model number. Then download and install your think-pad and mouse pad drivers and install.

What keys due i use to calculate a fraction, where is the fraction key

To do fractions, just use the normal divide button.
To see the exact answer, hit MODE and scroll down to Exact/Approx and change to EXACT. In this mode, it will give the fraction always unless you press the special (green button with diamond) before pressing ENTER and it will give the approximate decimal value.

TI-89 Problems

There isn't anything "wrong" with it.

Go to mode, and set the results of your inquiries from Exact to approx.

If you put in cos(e^2), it will print out cos(e^2) because it's the most exact it can be without going into a decimal. (cos(e^2) will be a transcendental number like Pi).
