Everytime I try to print be it 1 page or 10, the printer starts to do its thing then stops and says printer out of paper, load paper in main tray. I always have paper loaded but it isn't recognizing that.
Eerytime we try to print it starts and then comes up "out of paper'. The paper tray if full and fully engaged. There is no paper jam and nothing down inside the printer.Eerytime we try to print it starts and then comes up "out of paper'. The paper tray if full and fully engaged. Turn off the Printer and Unplug it from the Power Supply.
Remove the Cartridges from the Printer!!!!!
On the Backside of the Cartridge you would see a Copper Stripe, Wipe the Copper Stripe using a Paper Towel!
Reinsert the Cartridges and Restart the Printer.
While the line is showing up on the output pages. Stop printing and put paper in the manual feed tray (tray 1). Start printing again. As a page gets pulled into the printer about 1/2 way open the top cover. Pull out the toner and look at the page inside the printer. If it doesn't have the grey/black line, get the fuser replaced. It is defective.
(1) Try rebooting the computer (Press
Ctrl+Alt+Del>Shutdown>Shutdown OR press and hold the power button
down on the front of the workstation/computer/tower/CPU until the unit
turns OFF)
(2) If that doesn’t work, then try clearing the print queue:
Start>Settings>Printers>Double-click on the
printer>Right-click on the print job(s) and click
cancel/delete/purge documents and try reprinting a document
(3) If that doesn’t work, then try a power cycle: Try turning the
printer off, then unplug the power supply from the printer, then unplug
the USB cable from the printer then the back of the computer; wait 30
second; then plug the USB cable back into the computer, then back into
the printer then plug the power supply back into the printer and turn
it on – run a test print
(4) Run a Test Print: Start>Settings>Printers>Right-click on the printer>Properties>Print Test Page
I had the same cr@p of the problem yesterday. The problem was not inthe paper. You have to do 2 simple things, from which one will solvethe problem. first, download the latest drivers and install them. And the more important thing, the problem occurred due to incorrectpaper format. Solution is very simple. Open MS word or somethingsimilar, file->print.. and before you print open Properties menu. There for the Output Size will be selected "Match Page Size". you don'twant that (i don't know why it doesn't work), but the solution ismanually select A4, or whatever your page size is. And there it is... printer starts throwing pages out like crazy :)))
Print the test page and place it into the scanner, remember to place the paper in the correct direction. Then press the start scan button on the printer. Let the scanner do the scan and if it is successful, the printer is ready for use. If it failed, then the orange led for check paper will flash slowly. If every thing is done in the correct sequence but get failed from time to time, then you may need to get the scanned image of the test page to see what the scanner is seeing.
I believe that after changing the ink cartridge you havent completed the alignment process. This Alignment test page will print everytime you turn the printer ON.To Complete the alignment follow my steps.
1.After turning the printer ON, wait untill the printer prints the Alignment test page.
2.Then place the alignment test paper on the scanner, facing down in a correct position.
3.Then press the Scan button(color) and wait untill the printer ON light stops flashing.
4.After the light stops flashing, take the paper out and the alignment process is completed.
Turn OFF and turn On the printer, it will not print the Test page again.try it and please let me know.Would really appreciate your rating for my solution.
