SOURCE: tv not working
Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal? My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie. I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution. My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.

the problem is we have no cable-none at all. The tv is used only for playing DVD's. solution check dvd to tv wire or socket if it is ok then play dvd in another tv if it works fine then problem in tv. for that check tv tuner & its circuit for loose. check tuner itself

You must program the tv. Go into the MENU and find AUTO PROGRAM. Then program it and it should work.
