There should be a tiny recessed 'button' (usually more of a hole) in the back of your router. This may be marked 'reset'.

To use this to reset your router, the manual for the Zyxel P660HW router advises that your power LED should be on, but not blinking.

Push the end of an opened out paperclip into the 'reset' button (hole) for 10 seconds, or until the power LED blinks. This restores your defaults. The manual I have advises that your password will be reset to 1234. If you have a manual, please check this.

You can simply reset the device to factory defaults. There's a reset button at the back of it. Hold it down for 30 second with the power on. That will reset the unit back to router function.

SOURCE: Iphone will not accept Password in Zyxel Router

this problem was on g1 iphone, it is solved whith the OS3.01. the 3G iphone is working good....but the 3G S have a different chipset (with FM) and seems not working again... the login is ok but he swich back to 3G and dont stay on wifi.

Go to the manufacturer's webpage - the password may be incorrect for your router. Try another hard reset if the password is confirmed; software is fallible (just look at computers!).

How to change Pass word

Hello it depends on your router.

You might have to reset router to access the page.
Press the reset button at the back of your router for 30 sec.
and release.Wait for it to boot up again.
Now the router is set to factory settings.
Connect your lan cable to the router to one of the ports 1 to 4
and to your computer
To configure your router's wireless network open Internet Explorer and navigate to the router's configuration page by typing 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. When the page loads you will be prompted for your Router configuration password. By default this is 1234.
(You have to find the username and password first)

Try to download a manual for the router:

Please select your model and number.

Do not use a easy password so others can use your internet connection.

CANT CHANGE ROUTER PASSWORD: ZYXEL

The default password for these routers is 1234 and no username. SO if you want, you can reset the router to Factory defaults and then reconfigure all again with your own password

I dont know ho to change the password on the PK5000Z Wireless Router

I just set up my new ZyXEL PK500Z, so happen to know this answer. In the ZyXEL Qwest Modem Configuration (launch 192.168.0.1), select Wireless Setup, then Wireless Security. Scroll down to Enter Security Key/Passphrase. Unless you changed this, Use Default is selected. If you want to use a password of your own creation, select Use Custom, then enter the password you want. Finish with Apply. Everything connected to your network will be prompted to re-enter the password. Is this what you were after?

To change the password, click the Password tab. This allows you to change the password.

If you don't know the password, you will have to reset the router with its small reset button.

What is my password how do I find it

Here is a list of possiblities assuming you have not configured a password yourself and forgot it, if you have forgot your own password your will have to reset the router to default setting by pressing in the reset button on the back, usually its very small and will require a tack, or perhaps a tooth pick.

Possible Usernames/Passwords:

admin/no password

admin 1234
admin/1234

no user name/admin

no user name/1234

root/1234

webadmin/1234

WEP key for ZyAir B-2000

go to the web page of the router default ip address is 192.168.1.1 and user name is admin and password is 1234. after then go to the wireless option in that seciurty option is there in that u get the wep in that you can get the password you change it that's all
