Game freeze and red lights

360's tend to lock up before the "red rings of death". You get this when the system overheats and has problems with the solder coming loose. Mine took a little over a weak before it got the red rings after it kept freezing after a few min.'s of playing.

It could be overheating because the fan is not getting enough air out. try cleaning the console itself outside and using can of compressed air to get any buildup in the vent holes and fan cleared. There are a few FAQS on this site to learn about a few tricks.

this usually happens when u have the red ring of death, to make sure of that check your xbox when ur game freezes, if red rings come up u have the red ring of death. u can contact microsoft and they will wither fix ur console or send u a new one

Send it back to Microsoft for repair. There is a free extended 3 year warranty to cover the so called 'Red Ring Of Death' and more recent the 'E74 Error''

Go to www.xbox.com/support and choose the first option '3 red lights...' for details on how to return. It won't cost if it's covered under the extended guarantee, you can type in your serial numbe to find out.

you need to do the red ring repair call me and i will take you through it even though the lights are green freezing is the first warning you get before red rings

try towel fix for half the recommended time 20 mins so half is 10 mins

I hate to break it to you, but you may have gotten the Red Ring Of Death. It happens when playing a game and it is transmitted through online play through Xbox Live. 3 red lights will appear around the power button when your console has become infected. The Red Ring of Death may have infected your console causing it to shut down. Most Xbox 360 consoles won't turn back on but some do turn back on but they just won't play games, they will freeze up and have the dotted lines and make the buzzing noise. I'm sorry, but I think you may need a new console. You're in luck if it's still under warranty. Hope this helps!!!!

easy just put something that covers the fans in the back and turn the xbox on and never turn it off and the red lights of death will appear.
