Hello, I just bought a new etec mp3 player

have this problem When attach the mp3 player to my lap top with USB cable...


Did it recognize previously? If you are using it first time and it's not recognized, you should return it.
Else, you should test your player on another computer. If doesn't show up as Removable Disk, your mp3 player passed out. You can't do anythig.

Connect it to your computer via the usb cable (you have already done). Using Windows Media Player, press sync and create a sync list, press start sync and it will transfer them to your MP3. REMEMBER, use the safe hardware removal mode when taking off your MP3 and do not try to operate it whilst still attached to the computer.

conect the player to the computer by the cable and copy ur music to it

The Small CD will work on your laptop.  Just click it in place on the spindle and it will be fine.

my etec mp3 player will turn on when i plug it into the computer but when i disconnect it it wont turn on

Ahh! I also have an etch and theres a virus on it. I was trying to upgrade the firmware, but found no website, or any sort of information on it at all!

when i turn on my Etec 8gb mp3 player it stays stuck, it doesn't come on. Can you help with this?
