Hi, sounds like you got a wire rubbed through or loose on the operator present circuit. Which is telling the ignition circuit to shut the engine off.
Best thing to do is to start at the units battery and follow all the wires to the switches/ plugs checking for loose plugs and worn through wiring that may be shorting out. Also check all the Wires going to and from the engine. You may have a few wires on the mowing deck, also check the switches to see if they are broken, etc.
Secondly, it's also Possible you have a bad switch under the seat. This is a safety feature that kills the motor if you overturn the mower. Unless the seat switch is made, the motor will not run with the blades engaged. There is also a switch on the blade engagement mechanism so the mower "knows" when they are engaged.
