MOST LAMPS IN THESE SETS LAST APPROXIMATELY A YEAR TO A YEAR AND A HALF MAYBE YOU SHOULD CALL MITSUBISHI AND TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM.

Lamp Problems

If you put in an osram "neolux" type lamp--these will NOT often work in Mits. tv sets. And MIts often sends out Neolux bulbs now. A phillpis bulb for this works MUCH better.

Sound no picture

Like stated before--May be another bad blub, especially if you used a generic or Neolux one. A phillips bulb WILL work right. Mits sets do NOT like generic bulbs !!

I turn on my tv then it immediately shuts back off and now i cant get it to stay on. Why is that?

I think you have a dlp tv . always first unplug from wall 10 to 20 minutes to reset micro pross. if that don't work mit dlp tvs are known to have bad filtor capacitors. and always make shure you have good lamp. J.D.W.

if components on the Power board K9A20 and/or K9A21 are shorted. Also, R9A02 may be open. Possible side effects are a deformed lamp exhaust duct and damaged lamp. Replace PWB-POWER part # 934C228003 and if necessary, Lamp part # 915P049010, Lamp Exhaust Duct part # 642B155010, and/or Lamp Exhaust Duct Cover part # 642B156010 let me know if you need anything else
