Do you mean that no hot water is reaching the shower, or do you mean that no hot water is coming out of the shower. The answer to this will determine where the problem is.
If no hot water is reaching your shower, then there is probably a problem with the boiler or the pipe is blocked. You can easily test this. You can turn on other faucets in the bathroom to check whether any hot water is reaching those.
If the problem isn't with the boiler and the shower is in fact receiving hot water, then the problem will be with the shower mixer valve, specifically the thermostatic cartridge. The cartridge controls water temperature. The inner workings of the cartridge move up and down to adjust the amount of hot and cold water entering the cartridge. If it has seized up, the moving part can get stuck in a certain position. It sounds like this could be the case with you and therefore replacing the cartridge should in theory fix the problem.
One rule I live by: more parts, more problems. Sounds to me that the plumbing/valves were not insalled properly. If you hired a profesional plumber, have them fix it. I am a licensed profesional plumber and I offer a 1 year warranty on all my work. If the contractor did the work and does not hold a plumbing license, that person is still responsible and may have to suffer legal consequenses.

Limit message is when the output water set temperature can not be reached, this is normally when the incoming hot water to the shower unit is not sufficiently hot. Service code 20 is something else inside the unit that is faulty, it could be a number of faults. Try reset Power down unit and re-start, it will either say Wait or Priming, after that it should restart, hopefully it will work. If not, you could have a internal fault with: The mixer valve/motor, the flow control valve or motor, the flow sensor. If you have hot water from other taps, then the mixer valve/motor is the most likely fault. If you only have cold water only from the shower head with limit message it could be the Hot solenoid controlled valve is faulty. Good luck as there are no spares available!
Sounds to me the diffusor is stuck or broken in the position to allow only hot water through it.Looks to me tou have a mixer valve on it. Might have to replace it.
