You need a good utility that will clean 'old things' once ran, now removed.. go to
http://www.glaryutilities.com/ and grab their utility software. The free version works great. Run the "One-Click Maintenace" link and watch the errors come up.. The go into "Modules/Optimize & Improve/Registry Defrag" It will ask you after it's analysis if you want to continue.. say "Yes", it will reboot itself when it's done. Once a week maintenace never hurts, don't play with features you do not understand.. "File Shredder" is the most destructive thing they provide.
