I cannot remove the broken latch arm on my Omega 1000 Juice Extractor to replace it with a new latch arm. I have tried to follow vague instructions on the web, but I cannot remove it. Thanks.

It's a real pain and even bigger pain to snap the new one in place. Best way to do it is remove
the 4 screws, not the center one, and separate the base. You will then have access to the
latch arm from within, but remember how everything goes back together again.

How do you get the latch arm back in. The bottom is easy but how do you snap the top????

Is this an older juicer and a new latch arm? Surprised you were able to snap it into the base.
If your problem is latching it down because it's a little too snug, file the upper tip a little to
increase the tolerance. Do it to a point where the latch arm will easily slip over the lip of the
cover and then latch it down.

Hello! the top of of one of the arms has broken off about 2 inches at the top... is it fixable?

You can purchase new latch arms from Omega. Kinda tricky removing and installing them, but
it can be done. Have Omega walk you through it.

The left arm-clamp has come off. It seems to be different from the left arm-clamp. At first I thought I just needed to figure out how to reset the spring, but a neighbor seems to think that the arm was...

They break. The latch arm is one piece, spring and all. So if any part of it is still in the
juicer it's broken. Order a pair from Omega and have them walk you through replacing
them.

Latch arm broken on my omega 1000 juicer. I have ordered one. How is it attached?

Omega can walk you through it, but have a file handy because the new latch
arms are not a perfect fit for the older juicers. You might want to remove the
4 screws on the bottom to separate the base for better access. If you have
a little mechanical ability it can be done, if not it could get tense.

Need to replace latch arm omega juicer

First thing to do is call Omega and order a pair
at 1 800 633 3461 and also ask them for tips on
how to remove and install the arm. If your juicer
is older the new arms may not be an exact fit, and
you will have to do a little filing and improvising to
install them. Its helpful to remove the 4 screws on
the bottom to separate the base for better access
and view of the situation.

HI, I have omega 1000 juicer, and the latch arm was broken. I ordered the replacement latch arm online. I received my order today and there is no intruction how to replace it. I looked in omega 1000 manual...

There are no instructions. Call Omega 1 800 633 33461
for advice. Also new arms on an older juicer may not
be an exact fit so you might have to do a little filing
down on the arm to get it to fit. You can remove the
4 screws on the bottom to separate the base and get
a clearer picture of what you have to do. Basically
you have to pry the base of the arm away and push
up to remove it. If you're not handy you may need
some help cause it gets tricky.

One bracket broke. Tried to glue it with no success.

IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE LATCH ARM, YOU CAN BUY THEM FROM OMEGA AT
717 561 1105. TRICKY TO REPLACE. I REMOVED THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE AND
GAINED ACCESS THAT WAY. ONCE YOU SEE THE LATCH ARM SUPPORT PRY IT AWAY
FROM THE JUICER AND SLIDE IT OUT. CALL OMEGA THERE ARE 2 WAYS TO REPLACE
THE LATCH.

Broken clamp/arm

Just call 1-800-233-9054 or go online to order part at foxinternational.com

If you live in Canada you may have to get them to send it to a friend or relative in the states--they have this part, but not at their Cdn depot, & they won't ship to Canada, or their depot for you...of course you can always try. If you live in the U.S. you are fine.
