My Commando SP-8320 no longer flashes both Red & Blue like it should in order to pair with another device. I can't even pair it with the I-Phone I've used it with over the last couple years.

SOURCE: headset does not flash red/blue so I can pair it with my phone

To get it into pairing mode (flashing red and blue) turn the headset off.  Hold the main button down until the light goes red and then off.  Then push and hold that same button and keep holding it even after the blue light comes on.  It will now go into pairing mode, flashing red and blue.  Set your cell phone to find it and it should work.

SOURCE: 925 Plantronics will not pair with cell phone.

You are holding down the main button too long.  When it flashes blue and red it is now in pairing mode.  To turn on the headset hold down the main button until you see the blue light come on, then let go.  If you hold it any longer this is when it goes into pairing mode.

SOURCE: old phone quit and blue tooth won't pair with new phone

Hold the volume buttons on the side while holding the call button for 10 seconds. It will reset the bluetooth and remove any other devices it may have been paired to. Then turn it off, back on and it will eventually stay lit blue and then you need to set it up through your phone. I hope this helps, I had the same problem and mine is working fine!

SOURCE: I have an Explorer 210 series. It will no longer pair

Just this morning I was able to pair this headset with my phone. Before, it was paired to my PS3. The key is to hold down the big round button on the outside until the light flashes red/blue (this is quick-pair mode) then just have your cellphone search for bluetooth devices and you're done!

Testimonial: "I tried that but I bet I didn't do it long enough. Thank you so much (I exchanged it already but will keep in mind). Thank you again!"

SOURCE: Head set not pairing with sony erricson k750i

The solution for paring the explorer 240 is found in the bottom of the product page for the embedded link on the User Guide Link. I have also provided the instructions below. I hope this helps

How to Pair Your Phone With Your Headset for the First Time

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
For most phones, select Settings/Tools > Connections >
Bluetooth > On. See your phone’s user guide for more information.
2 Turn the headset on.
Turn on your headset by sliding the Power Switch toward the microphone. Wait until the indicator light flashes red then blue.
If you don’t see the red then blue flashes, turn the headset off, then turn it on again. Press and hold the Call Control button until you see the red then blue flashes that indicate pairing mode status.
3 Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ to locate the headset.
This usually involves going to ‘setup’, ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add a device’.
4 Once available headsets are listed, select your headset (for example 2XXPlantronics or 3XXPlantronics). If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000.
When pairing is successful, the indicator on your headset flashes blue. Your phone will also confirm when pairing is complete.

Red blinking light

Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).
Please take a look at the table reference below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
•With the Charger Plugged In
______________________________________________________________________
•Headset Indicator Headset Status
Red-----------------------------------------------Charging (battery level less than 50% charge)
Yellow-------------------------------------------Charging (battery level more than 50% charge)

Three blue flashes------------------------Powering on/off
Steady blue --------------------------------Pairing/connect mode
Rapid blue/purple flashes -------------Connection successful
Quick blue flash --------------------------Incoming/outgoing call
Slow blue pulse --------------------------Connected (on a call)
Slow blue flash ---------------------------Standby (not on a call)
Slow red flash ----------------------------Idle (not connected to phone)
Slow purple pulse -----------------------Connected call muted
Steady red ---------------------------------Attempting to connect
Quick red flash ----------------------------Low battery

Note: After 20 minutes on a call or of inactivity, the light stops flashing to conserve power, but the headset remains on

Hope that'll help you in some way.

I just purchased a Voyager Pro. When trying to pair it with my Blackberry, I turned the device on and held the button down waiting for the LED to flash red/blue. The device turn on blue, then flashed red...

You will need to turn off your headset and then press and hold the power button until the LED starts to flash red/blue, red/blue, it will stay in this state for a few minutes.

Good luck from Headsets Direct - 800-914-7996.

Not discoverable by iphone

In order to pair it with your phone, it must be in pairing mode first. If it has never been paired to another device before, just by opening the boom, the indicator light should flash alternately in red and blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Otherwise, in order to force it to go into pairing mode, press and hold the volume (either + or -) key whist opening the boom. It should flash alternately in red and blue. Only then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, VMX100 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode. You can pair your headset with other devices too (the VMX100 is able to pair to up to 4 different devices). If you wish to do so, make sure that all devices previously paired with it have their bluetooth radios turned off. Then, repeat the pairing process for each one of the new devices.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Visor bt, i need a passkey code. i have no idea what this is

Yes had same problem. all the usual 0000, 1234 etc access to the device was denied...on the point of binning it.....However found the answer... Get your phone to the point where its recognised another device ie the bt visor , select and its asking for password. ...now ...Turn on BT Visor BUT continue to hold main button for several seconds. There will then be another beep and light flashes alternately red and blue now insert 0000 into your phone and ok...this should then pair the devices.
Good luck

Most probably the hands free device is not in pairing mode. The way to put it in pairing mode is as follows:
- press the off button till the device is off
- hold the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds
- THE device shouLD be in pairing mode now and the red/blue lights will flash alternatingly.
- Now you can use your phone to serarch and enter "0000" .
- Then turn it off.
- Turn it on by holding the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. Teh blue light will flash only (no red light flashing).
