Yep same thing happened to me three times! Completely dead! Twice under warranty and once out of warranty. Denon Australia don't want to know about it and basicly said BAD LUCK !
FRANK from Audio Products Group ( Australian denon distributors) even admitted there was a problem with that (and other denon models) of a fault on the the power output stages and claimed my amp was fully upgraded on the second time in for repair and will not give the go ahead to have it repaired out of warranty I argued that the original problem was never fixed but FRANK from denon Australia didn't want a bar of it. I suggest taking the shocking (bordering on criminal) after sales service into consideration when thinking of buying any denon products.
NEVER BUY A DENON FROM AUSTRALIA be warned.

Sounds like either a blown mainpower fuse or the thermal fuse for the power transformer. If the protect circuit was kicking in, the display would light up, but then turn off with a red blinking light. the green light with no display means the transformer is not getting power.
Hi.The signal lights red means the primary power of your tv is good and the signal lights green indicate the second power. If the green lights is flashing it means that they have shorted parts in the crt board.Maybe the problem is in the power section of the crt.Need for troubleshoot or repair the crt board.

Try unplugging the entire unit and letting it sit for 5 minutes. See if this helps. If not, you need to do a complete reboot, which will cause you to lose your settings, but will probably solve your problem. To do a complete reboot, you will need to hold down two of the front bottons on the front panel. I'm not sure which, so either consult your manual or see other posts here which describe the reboot process for Denons. Hope this helps.
Hope your under warranty mate and if so hope its not in Australia as they cannot fix this problem. My denon was allegedly fixed twice but has now failed a third time (just out of warranty) and denon have turned their back on me. SHAME ON YOU DENON.
i also have the same problem with the flashing green light for a while then a different red light starts blinking on and off around 5 times....and i replaced my burnt bulb with a new one...still no picture.
