Kodak has 3 types of charger that can be connected to a wall socket USB AC Adapter - is especially useful when traveling, away from your computer, or just plain on-the-go. Connect your camera's USB cable to the adapter and plug it into a wall outlet to conveniently charge your camera. 5V AC Adapter - Provides in-camera charging for all KODAK EASYSHARE M and V Series Digital Cameras Input: AC 100-240 V 50/60 Hz Output : DC 5.0 V 3V AC Adapter - Provides direct power to your camera but it will not charge the camera battery Input: AC 100-240 V 50/60 Hz Output : DC 3.0 V
* You need to check the type of adapter your using. If your using the 5V AC adapter or USB adapter and the camera won't charge the battery contact kodak support line 1 800 235 6325 (23KODAK) for possible repair.
You will need a USB cable to link your camera to your computer. You can go to any camera or computer store nearby and take along your camera, so that you could buy a usb cable.
You could also order it on line, just google "USB cable for Kodak Easyshare M1063 camera".
Hey ghgyu, I would first make sure you have the batteries installed correctly. If you are using a camera dock or you have an AC adapter cord I would try removing the batteries and try turning the camera on while connected to the camera dock or plugged into an outlet with the AC adapter cord. If the camera works this way I would then try cleaning the battery contacts with a soft cloth or an eraser. If none of this works I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
First, the dock will charge only the batteries that came with the device; not other rechargeable batteries. Be sure that the Kodak battery is inserted correctly, the door is closed securely, and that the camera is securely seated in the dock with the power cord secure to both the dock and the AC outlet. The USB cord does not supply power to the dock. Hope this helps. DigiChick
If this new then you did get a cord in the box together with an A/V cord/
