SOURCE: Mitsubishi HDMI connection trouble

I have the same issue with my 73". Rather then going over all of my connections and equipment I'll just say htat I feel your frustration. I have been on the phone with Mitsubishi directly and it appears as though they have a free software upgrade that should address this problem. If you call 1-800-332-2119 and press 4 in the menu you will get someone to help you. Be patient. They will make you go through all of the fixes that you have already tried. They will mail you a flash drive that goes right into the front USB port of your TV. I hope this is of help. Good luck.

SOURCE: Onkyo remote won't control Samsung components.

I got an Onkyo RC-717M remote control. It is the remote that comes with the Onkyo TX-SR706 receiver. It is a learning remote. When i entered the cde for the Samsung Blu-Ray it did the same thing as the other remotes I got from Onkyo, the pause, next / previous track buttons wouldn't work for the Samsung BD-P3600. I used the learning function of the new remote and programmed it to work. It works ok now but it sure was a hassle to get it done. In fairness i should have called Onkyo support but their support hours don't match my schedule.

IF IT'S POSSIBLE GET HELP TO FIX QLED TV

Hello, there's a couple of things to try. First unplug the tv, then unplug the "one connect box one both ends and then re-connect them. Plug the tv back in and see if that works, if not, go to the menu on the tv and do a "reset" in the support area. Also do a "software update" and re-program the tv channels. That shou get you going. How to disassemble a smart tv controller?

To open the Samsung Smart TV Remote, flip the remote over and slide the back cover down in the direction on the indicators. Sliding the backside on the remove toward the indicators will expose a small gap on the front side of the remote.

Connect Sharp LCD tv to Onkyo TX8011 Receiver

The Onkyo TX8011 is a Stereo Receiver. Two ways to connect:
1) The HD Cable box should have an audio out (typically red and white). Connect this to the Obnkyo CD input (red and white). The volume may be controlled with the Cable box remote or Onkyo remote. The TV volume may be muted or ON.

2) Connect LCD TV's audio out to Onkyo TX8011's CD input.
This is not a great way to set up, as the TV volume, when moved high, will attenuate (over load) the amplifier, leading to a jarring sound on the speakers. To avoid this, the TV volume should be ALWAYS FIXED low.. say about 30%. Only the Onkyo's volume should be adjusted while watching.

Hope this helps.

Onkyo TX-SR604 provides audio thru receiver but no video on Bravia LCD when satellite receiver signal is sent thru any of the Onkyo HDMI connections to tv, however if I connect up my Samsung DVD recorder...

easiest fix is to take all hdmi straight to tv. then come out of tv with optical cable to your receiver. that way what ever your watching will automatically be sent to the receiver thru optical. you even will get dolby dig. also you can have audio from your tv when you dont want to use your surround. keeps receiver on one input also.
