NOKIA 5300 HELLO, I LOST MY NOKIA 5300 I FOUND IT AND I FORGOT MY SECURITY CODE THEN I WENT TO T-MOBILE AND THE GUY LOCKED MY PUK I PUT IN THE EIGHT ZERO'S BUT THEN IT SAY'S ENTER NEW PIN BUT WHEN I VERIFY IT IT SAID CODE ERROR SO NOW I DON'T HAVE BOTH CODES, WHAT CAN I DO I WANT MY PHONE AND SERVICE BACK.

    i forgot my pin code and security code, what can i do to unlock it without going to a phone repair shop?

    I tried to enter my PIN code, then it lead to a screen that says "PIN blocked. Enter PUK code:" I entered it, then it lead to "Enter new PIN code" then "Verify new PIN code" then I entered it, then it flashed "CODE ERROR"

Sir there still the one to service your phone i think they have a software to read the security code of your phone and same as your sim-card, cuz' every sim-card has a digit number, its a verification for PUK code and they have an access to that.

SECURITY CODE:

If you are talking about the security lock code to enter into the phone then once it is lost nothing can be done except flashing the mobile . Because if anybody can give the security code created then who ever who steals your phone can get into it and get your valuable information.

So as safety precaution to avoid that they have designed it such that if you forget the security lock you have to reset the mobile memory by flashing the mobile at an authorized service center.So while flashing the mobile all the data in the mobile memory will be lost and you can again start using the mobile.

The default PUK is 00000000 (eight zeros). PUK and PIN are the service provider's security codes. And if you give wrong PUK five times then the SIM gets locked. And only the service provider can supply you new PUK. If eight zeros do not work then contact the helpline of your service provider and get a new one from there.

Nokia 5300 security code
This just happend to me and I had to call my service provider. My service is with T-Mobile so they were able to give it to me. I don't know if the PUK code works for every NOKIA 5300 but you may want to try it. The PUK code they gave me was 86931247. From what I have been told every carrier has their own PUK codes but you can at least try it and see what happens. Good Luck!
