Sounds like the Carburetor isn't sending the Gas fast enough, I would put Real Gas/ Marine has they call it. Then clean the Carburetor..

SOURCE: I have a perkins generator 120kw when it reaches 80kw the rpm dropes but at 50kw its stable what could be the problem ?

could be a problem with the condition of the motor ( do a compression check )
could be a governor problem in the fuel pump or possible a fuel delivery problem
check for a black slime in the fuel tank and if found clean out the entire fuel system, filters lines and with the new fuel use a diesel conditioner . if the fuel is clean then the problem will be in the fuel pump not giving full fuel to the injectors under load
if the engine rpms are electronically controlled ( throttle lever to electronic control) check that movement of the lever or the control unit

SOURCE: RPM Caterpillar generator not stable. Any solutions ? Thanks

problem with the governor controls
if electronic controlled governor it could be the electronic system is faulty
If manual control , check for governor lever operation
check for fuel flow problems , blocked filters , low fuel level vent ing for the fuel tank blocked

Keep getting under voltage fault. I have cleared fault several time. generator will run for short period then fail.sometimes the fault is underspeed.

See if reducing the number of things connected to the generator will stop your problem. Disconnect or turn off some things that are not totally necessary.
To properly generate electricity, the engine is required to maintain an rpm within a specific range. If you load down the generator with too many things pulling power, the engine will not have enough HP to turn the generator within the set rpm range. It goes under-speed or under-voltage and you get a fault.
Going to the extreme, if you disconnect everything from the generator and it still fails, you have a generator problem

High idle

most cheaper generators do not have a idle kick down and are made to run at 1850 rpm's the older ones run at 3600 rpm if it has a no load idle system there will be a switch

The coleman voltage generator for 250 kva gen set

Well I assume that this generator is NOT three Phase, and delivering 440 Volts? in that case, that reading is what is called and "Open Circuit" reading, with a full load, that reading will/should come down to the nominal voltage of 250 V (+/- 10%) This generator is a 250 V AC unit? If this is so then it is operating correctly? It is 5kw UNIT. using a digital multimeter due to it's large input impedance it will often give erroneous readings if NOT loaded down with the correct.any. load.?

Suzuki Baleno (esteem) 1999. Engine Idle RPM not stable

you probably need to check the butterfly. its the compinent that controls how much air goes into the engine if it is weared than in idle state air leaks into the engine sometime more sometimes less and cause fluctuations in rpm

secondly there is a rpm switch which controls the rpm you can replace that switch and check

How can i play videos in fedora10

This is what the VLC website says:

Fedora 9 and Fedora 10 Use RPM Fusion for F9 and F10 (available for x86, x86_64, ppc and ppc64)
Install rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm for F9 and f10
$> su -
#> rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
#> yum install vlc
#> yum install mozilla-vlc (optionnal)
I'm not a Fedora man myself so hopefully this makes sense to you.

If not I'll see what I can dig up.

Best of luck!

Envoy 2002 unsteady RPM and engine while stoping

It is your Fan Clutch going. That thing causes all kinds of settings on the computer to readjust as it fails. The fortunate folks that I know that it happened to simply experience a sudden roar of the engine sound,, loss of compression, and just a wide assortment of symptoms. But it was the Fan Clutch. Part only cost about 125 bucks, but after it is installed, a computer download must be performed that is only available from the dearlership. 600 bucks. This should have been a recall item in my opinion,, but.
