Tip the mower up on it's side with the dip stick tube on the lower side and dump the oil out. Best to run the mower till its out of gas first.

SOURCE: oil change in yard man lawn mower

Some mowers are designed to drain oil out of the dipstick tube. remove dipstick and tilt the mower to allow oil to run out into a drain pan. 2/3 rds of a quart or 20 oz is what to expect.

SOURCE: how to change oil in poulan 500 lawn mower

First remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. Then tilt the handles down to the ground. It helps to have something you can slide the handles under or otherwise hold them down. Underneath the mower deck there will be a drain plug. You are in front of the unit facing it the drain plug will be at about 7-o'clock a few inches from the cranckshaft. It will have a square hole in it. Use an extension on a 3/8ths drive ratchet in the square hole and remove the plug. Be careful not to cut yourself on the blade, I usually remove the blade first and sharpen it while the oil is draining. Loosening the dipstick from the tube on top will help it drain faster. When its done draining replace the plug and reinstall the blade if it was removed. Then refill from the dipstick tube. The unit will take approx. 22 ounces of oil. Do not overfill.

SOURCE: Webb Diplomat 350 Petrol Lawn Mower stops running 10 minutes

The 'DIPLOMAT' series of WEBBs is bad news, its NOT a WEBB! Webb were swallowed by qualcast-atco-suffolk, who dunped Webbs tooling, & dressed up punches & commodores in thin disguises, dumped the briggs & stratten engine for their own alloy job, & charged a rip off premium for the Webb decals!
The qualcast suffolk alloy engine suffers from a WIPAC electronic ignition unit. As it gets old, it fails, sometimes completely, sometimes as it warms up. Once cool, it works for a while again.
Not too hard to replace, but hard on the wallet, £69 genuine, £40 fake! On the whole its not too bad an engine if cared for & oil changed often. better to look on ebay for a cheap used HONDA engine & transplant! R-E-L-I-A-B-L-E !............I did! ( £35 honda gc series, 5,5hp! )

Where is drain plug for oil on Troy bilt Tb230

It does not have a drain plug. You can remove the dip stick and tilt the mower to pour out the oil, or you can use one of those hand pump syphon units to pump it out.

I need to change oil in my yard man lawn mower. Where is the drain plug? I need to change the oil

Hi, you drain it out of the dipstick filler hole by tipping the mower to that side. Remove the sparkplug cap first as a safety precaution. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Changing oil in my mtd lawn tractor!! Was oil should I use? Where is the filter? How do I change it?

Most Mower engines have an oil drain plug located at the base of the oil fill tube or dip stick tube, Most mower engines use a standard 30wt engine oil, however, to stay within the parameters of your warranty, use the manufacturers reccommended oil, this info can be located in your owners manuel.

Oil change

STOP !

Your lawn mower is has a 4 cycle engine
It does not require oil to be mixed with the gas
The oil for the crankcase should be a 10W-30 or 10W- 40
NO GAS IN THE OIL
What you have is a 2 cycle oil that is mixed with gas for most weed eaters, chain saws, ect
Putting a gas/oil mix in your mower WILL severely damage it destroying the main bearings and could lead to an explosion or fire.
Please be careful

I have a troy bilt mower with a briggs & stratton engine. How do I change the oil?

There should be a drain plug on the underside of the mower deck. Raise that side of deck, remove the plug and drain the oil. Replace the plug and add new oil. Hope this helped.

Change Oil

All lawn mower engines have a drain plug for draining the oil. Look for a square nut on the side of the engine

Oil drain plug

may be under the blade plate under the mower, usually a plug with a quarter inch square drive, you can use a ratchet to loosen it if it is quarter drive, maybe a half inch drive
