Are you looking through the eyepiece at the side or the finder scope that sits along the top? I can't think of anything else! Sorry.

SOURCE: How do I use the Celestron powerseeker 80eq 21048?

If you will go to my profile page I have a TIP and instructions for using an equatorial mount.

This mount must be polar aligned before you can use it. That's why we never recommend an EQ mount for beginners. EQ mounts are very good for astro-photography however the low cost ones are too shaky to use. Normally you need to spend at least $500-$1500 to buy a usable EQ mount that can be used to take pictures of the sky.

Read my EQ Tip on my profile page, and read the link below:

This is a simple reflecting telescope-- put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser-- take it outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

Image is upside down in Celestron PowerSeeker 114AZ telescope

That's because this telescope is what's called a reflector. The image in reflector telescopes are upside down. This isn't an issue since reflectors are designed for looking at the night sky.

Need the spare parts catalogue for a Celestron Powerseeker 60AZ telescope

By spare parts what do you mean? An eyepiece, a diagonal? a finderscope?

or is something broken like the front lens?

Anyway-- you can contact Celestron at this web site:
http://www.celestron.com/

and eyepieces, finderscopes, diagonals etc etc-- can be purchased from many different on-line retailers. Here are two:

Why isn't my Celestron PowerSeeker 60AZ #21041 showing anything during the night but it works great during the day time... but it doesn't let me see but like two football field lengths away... i have done...

Objects in the night sky are tiny-- smaller than the tip of your finger held at arms lebgth. Your scope must be pointed directly at them or you will see nothing.

Hello everybody! I have a Powerseeker 127eq, I mounted correctly after I watched a video on YouTube, but I try to watch the moon for example, nothing is seen, only a halo or something that. A few days...

First you must line up the small "finder" scope with the main tube. Go outside during the day time and get a distant object in the eyepiece-- use the eyepiece with the largest number written on it.

Without moving the scope adjust the crosshairs on the finder scope onto the same distant object. Now you can use the small finder at night to POINT to objects in the sky.

Again put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Try the moon again, and turn the focuser knob until the moon is sharp and clear.

CELESTRON 127EQ faulty magnification

It won't increase viewing power by hundreds of time but it should be able to show you a close up view of the moon and planets where they look closer (or with the moon, parts of it look closer). When you say it looks further away, something is quite wrong as you know. It sounds like the eye piece is backwards in the mount? Can't imagine what else would make it smaller. Also can't imagine you could even get it in backwards. I have a scope by Meade that is essentially the same Newtonian design. Best of luck.
