SOURCE: Ricoh CL3000 Laser Replace Waste toner

Couple of things to try: - If you just emptied the waste cartridge then you have to take the bottle back out and clean the insides as well. The sensor sees the toner on the walls and still thinks it?s full. FYI as typical the manufacturer recommends replacing the bottle with a brand new one. - If not that then you may have toner covering the optical sensor. Try blowing the area where the waste bottle attaches to the printer with canned air. Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.

SOURCE: Ricoh service mode to reset

This is the solution from Ricoh website:

Please press Menu. Then scroll to Maintenance and press Enter. Scroll to Color Regist and press Enter. Scroll to Color Regist Auto Adjust and then press Enter to Auto adjust. If after completing the procedure the error persists, please contact your service representative for support.

I'm told this works as well...
On the main board put dip switch 101-1 on and then off and then enter 97 and press the aps key. Then power cycle the printer.

SOURCE: Used Toner Bottle Full Ricoh Aficio 1035P

The used toner bottle is not actually a bottle at all. Not sure what you emptied, but it sounds like the actual toner bottle itself. The waste toner is contained with in the transfer belt unit. When you open the right side cover, this is the unit that is attached to the door. It is a brown belt that provides transfer of the image to the drum and separates the paper from the drum. Remove this unit by locating the release levers on either side of the transfer unit (push both of them towards the machine). After removing, you will need to actually take the belt unit off of the transfer unit. To do this, remove the two tension springs on either side, and then take a small flat bladed scredriver and release the clips that hold it down (you will see when you get started). Once you get it off, you will see the long blade that actually scrapes the toner off the belt. Dump the waste toner out this end. You will need to shake it pretty hard. A better (and cleaner) option is to vaccum it out using the crevace tool on you vac. Just make sure you completely empty it. Now....do everything in reverse.

Hope this helps,
Chad

SOURCE: ink collector almost full

100% agreed with rrrdddrrrddd. In addition:
Go to Menu->System->INK CU Replace. You will get a warning that overflow may occur(and it's really a messy job), reset the counter and everything should be OK.

My ricoh mp 4054 is saying replace fusing belt unit.please call for service now.. what can i do manually to reset it

If your Ricoh MP 4054 is displaying an error message indicating that the fusing belt unit needs to be replaced, you will likely need to replace the fusing belt unit in order to clear the error message and restore normal operation. This is a complex and technical process that generally requires the assistance of a qualified service technician.
Attempting to manually reset the fusing belt unit error message may not be possible or safe, as it may cause further damage to the printer or create a safety hazard. It is recommended that you contact a Ricoh service technician to properly diagnose and repair the issue.
When you contact Ricoh or a Ricoh-authorized service provider, be sure to provide them with the error message you are seeing and any other relevant information, such as the printer's model number and any recent changes or problems you have experienced. This will help them to quickly and accurately diagnose the issue and provide the necessary repairs or replacements.

Kindly help as my Printer is showing Close Top Cover and we have done that severally....

Look for a broken piece of plastic some kind of tab that may have either bent over or broken off and is not contacting the sensor that detects that the lid is closed

I need ink collector for Ricoh S/N is MP CW 2200 SP

If you are talking about the "Toner Collection Bottle", this can be removed and emptied out. Once you re-install the bottle and close the door the machine will reset and normal operation can continue.

I have a Ricoh GX3050sfn, it says the collector unit is almost full. I have installed a new unit, but it is still saying that the collector unit is almost full!

O.K. I had this problem also. Here is the solution to reset the Collector Full or Collector Near Full Alarm:
1: Press the following buttons: Clear (Yellow Button) then 1, 0, 7 in that sequence then press and hold the Clear/Stop button. After a few seconds, the printers service menu will appear.
2. Scroll, using the arrow button, up til you see 'Engine Maintenance' in the lcd display. When you have that on the display press the 'Yes' button.
3. The LCD screen will read 1000. Using the arrow buttons change the first number to 5. Use the right arrow button to move the cursor to the last digit and using the up arrow button change the last digit to 3. The display should now read '5003'
4a: When you have '5003' in the display Press the 'Yes' button. The display will change to 'RST:WASTE:R'. 4b:Press the 'Yes' button. 'EXEC' will appear on the display. 4c: Press the 'Yes' button again. The display will change to 'OK?'. 4d: Press the 'Yes' button again. The lcd will read 'RUNNING'.
When it's done running it will revert back to the 'RST:WASTE:R' on the display.
5. At this point turn off the printer. Wait 10 seconds or so, then power the printer back on. After the printer is done starting up the error should be cleared and your free to continue on. YAY! You beat the system!
Another quick tip: If your collector is near full or even partially full, find yourself some latex gloves, a plastic knife and some paper towels. You can carefully clean the collected ink out of the tank with the knife using the paper towels to clean the blade off between scoops. If you're not careful, it can get messy, but in that way, with the reset instructions above, you can easily re-use a collector tank 3 or 4 times.
