SOURCE: sub zero 700 TR error code 06
Error code six means: from SZ
Refrig. evaporator thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds, or repeatedly read erratic temp’s
Erratic temp can be many things such as an open door. Clear the code by holding the bell key for 15-30 seconds or until you hear a tone. Keep an eye on your temps for a couple of days. If it comes back its time to call a service tech. If you are in OC I have the number of the best tech for Sub Zero in all of SoCal. There is more tests that can be done depending on how tech savvy you are.
SOURCE: e4 code on model epc460 pressure cooker
I have a programmable pressure cooker with no instruction manual. The model number is EPC460. It was made in China and just says Perfect Programmable Pressure Cooker. Can you help me find a user manual for this. I can't find anything online or by googling it.
Thank you
SOURCE: I have a maytag epic MFW9800TQ0 with and F 06
Rock on with the incredible answer above from Jeff. That, for a guy with the time and smarts maybe can fix it himself. I have a quick fix answer (that I know, it's not the right way) works if your Epic is still going, but is on it's way to a slipped drive belt. My wife got us into the Maytag Epic to save space in our tiny 906 sq feet house. Anyway, so if you haven't figured it out, or tried this yet, you can simply unplug the machine and leave it off for 60 seconds.
Here's the sequence that led to our F06 fault code : 1) a large amount of towels was put through on Sanitize. 2) immediately following the washer lumping over the big load of towels, it began to sometimes squeek during wash cycles. 3) Worked fine however, for several months. 4) I washed 1 new shirt to "get the new clothes chemicals" out. 5) during the spin cycle with that unusaully small load, BAM Epic whips out the F06 code.
So, pushing all the buttons did not work, but unplugging for 60 seconds has it working again. Now this is not the full answer, as I know she's in need of some better service. For that use Jeff's answer.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all EPIC owners, if you use the sanitize cycle - change the spin speed from "Extra high" to "High." NEVER use the extra high.
Thanks - Tom
